Pelican Lakes Golf & Country Club Pool

Summer is almost here! As we do each year, the pool is scheduled to open Memorial Day Weekend for our member's use. Our staff is starting maintenance in April so the pool will be in pristine condition for our members' use.

This season promises positive changes at the Pelican Lakes Pool. We will be adding more activities for our members, including events for our younger members. Our goal is for our members and guests to enjoy a relaxing, resort-like environment with great member benefits. Please keep in mind that your safety is our first priority, and we gratefully accept the responsibility you have given us to safeguard your family and friends. We request that members present their green Country Club membership card to access the pool area, showers and locker rooms.

We love friends and families and understand that our members want to share this experience with their special visitors. Golf and Social Memberships include two free seasonal guest passes; however, additional guest passes can also be purchased. Pool Guest Fees are $3.00 per visit and $2.00 for extended family guest (grandchildren, parents, siblings – basically, extended immediate family not in the member's household.) Guest punch cards are another great option and are available for purchase:

Guests $30.00 (12 visits for the price of 10)
Extended Family Guests $20.00 (12 visits for the price of 10).

Guests must be accompanied by an active member after paying the appropriate fee. Please keep in mind that children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 14 yrs or older.

Private Party Rentals

Our members have the option to rent the Pelican Lakes Pool for private events. Party application forms are available at the Guard House throughout the season for our members' convenience (a complete list of all Pool Rules/Safety and Health Rules/Weather Closures is also available at the Guard House). Catering arrangements can be made through Austin's Homestead at (970) 674-1100. Menus are available at their website at www.austinshomestead.com.

Pool Hours

We want our members and guests to be able to plan their day at Pelican Lakes Pool. These are the standard hours of operation (weather permitting of course)!

Mon–Fri (lesson days) 11:30 AM– 8:00 PM Open Swim
Sat & Sun (non-lesson days) 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM Open Swim
Fri & Sat 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Moonlight Swim which includes lifeguards, bonfires and Austin’s bar and concessions

Swim Lessons

Pelican Lakes Pool will offer swim lessions weekdays before the pool is opened to our general membership. Our fee structures are:

$40 per session for members
$80 per session for non-members
$60 per session for Extended Immediate Family (i.e.: grandchildren, etc.)

Our members have priority enrollment for lessons, but non-members may attend a class if space is available after all members have been placed in classes. Swim lesson sign-ups will begin May 21st, 2012 and Session 1 reservations can be made by calling 686-5828 May 21-June 1, 2012. Session 2-5 reservations can be made at the Pelican Lakes Pool Guard House starting May 26, 2012. After the first session, registration is allowed up to one week in advance of the session date to help the Instructors accommodate children in the correct level and to keep confusion and chaos to a minimum, as well as keep class space available for advancing students.

Lessons will be 30 minutes each in 10 day sessions with five (5) sessions offered for the summer. (Red Cross requires only 8 days, so we are covered for unsuitable weather.)
